Cheese Popovers
These are great for breakfast or brunch. My Mom makes them on holiday mornings! Yummm!
Ingredients:
1 cup hot milk (heat in microwave)
1 cup flour
3 eggs
2 teaspoon oil
1/2 teaspoon salt
1/2 cup shredded cheese (any kind) optional
Pre-heat oven at 450 degrees
Put Popover pan in oven to heat up, while you mix up batter.
In a mixing bowl, add ingredients; slowly add milk (timper)
Blend on high speed mixer for 15 seconds.
Take pan out of oven and fill popover cups 3/4 full.
Sprinkle about 2 tbs. of cheese on top of each.
Bake 20 minutes at 450 degrees
Turn heat down to 350 degrees, and bake another 20 minutes
Pop out on a rack to cool.
Eat and enjoy!! :)
