Ham and Potato Casserole


 Ingredients:
5 to 6 slices of ham (I used left over ham  from Thanksgiving dinner)
6 cooked potatoes, peeled and cut up (I cooked them in the microwave)
1 small onion diced
3 cloves minced garlic cloves
3 tbsp. butter
3 to 4 slices of Kraft American cheese
1 teas. salt
dash of pepper, garlic,and onion powder
3 tbsp. unbleached flour
3 cups milk


Recipe:
Saute onion, salt, and fresh garlic in butter for a few minutes, in a large pot..
Then, add flour and saute for a few minutes.
Add milk and whisk until smooth, it will start to thicken. Simmer for 5 to 10 minutes.
Then add seasonings and cheese; until melted.
Take off heat and stir in potatoes and ham.
Place in a 13x9 baking dish
Bake 375* for 20 to 30 minutes.
