Orzo Pasta with Roasted Vegetables


 Ingredients:
1 lb. orzo pasta
1 package button mushrooms; cleaned and cut in half
1 bundle broccoli florets; rinsed and cut up
1/2 chopped onion
1 zucchini, chopped
1/3 cup Italian dressing (of your choice)
3 tbs. olive oil
juice of 1 lemon
2 tbs. sugar
2 tbs. rice vinegar
Dash of salt, pepper, onion powder, and garlic powder



 Recipe:
Cook Orzo pasta as directed on package; drain put in large bowl.
Add Italian dressing, lemon juice, and 1 tbs. sugar to cooked orzo; stir.  Then set aside.
Toss vegetables in a large bowl with olive oil, rice vinegar, 1 tbs.sugar, and your dry seasonings.
Put on cookie sheet in one layer. Roast in oven at 400*  for 30 to 40 minutes.
After vegetables are done put in with pasta and toss. 
This is good on it's own or with any meat!
