Cream Cheese Coffee Cakes
Ingredients:
3 loaves Roades frozen bread dough (defrost in refrigerator over night)
12 oz. cream cheese (1 1/2 boxes) let come to room temp.
1 cup brown sugar
cinnamon
1 raw battened egg
glaze- blend together 1 1/2 cups confectioners sugar, 1 tbs. softened butter, 1/2 teas. vanilla, and 1 tbs. milk. (add a little more milk if needed)
chopped pecans
Recipe:
Pre- heat oven 325
Separate dough into two even amounts. Roll out on a floured surface. This will make two coffee cakes. Spread 6 oz. of softened cream cheese on each. Sprinkle with 1/2 cup brown sugar add more if you like. Then sprinkle with cinnamon. (spray pan with non-stick cooking spray) Roll into a tight log; then place in a pie pan or round baking dish. Let rise or refrigerate over night. Bake at 325 for 20 to 35 minutes. Let cool for 20 to 30 minutes, then glaze and sprinkle with pecans.
