Ingredients:
6 to 7 cups of sliced and peeled apples (I used a mixture of yellow and red apples)
1/4 cup white sugar
2 tbs. lime juice
2 tbs. fresh orange juice
3/4 cup quick oats
1/2 cup brown sugar
1/2 cup unbleached flour
1 teas. ground cinnamon
1/3 cup butter
1 tbs. butter or margarine
Directions:
Pre heat oven 350* f
Butter bottom of a 9x13 casserole dish with 1 tbs. butter or margarine.
In a large bowl put in apples, white sugar, lime, and orange juice. Stir; then pour in a even layer; in buttered baking dish.
In a small bowl combine, oats, brown sugar, flour, and cinnamon. Using a fork , your hands, or a pastry blender mix until crumbly.
Sprinkle evenly over apples.
Bake for 45 minutes
Let cool for 10 minutes. Top with cool whip or vanilla ice cream. So yummy!
