Homemade Taco Seasoning

DSC09025

This is a great seasoning !
Mix together:
1 tbsp. chili powder
1/2 teas. black pepper
1 teas. cumin, paprika, salt, sugar, onion and garlic powder
1 teas. corn starch (optional thickener)
1/4 teas. cayenne pepper (optional)

Brown 1 lb. ground beef, and drain.  Put back in pan; add all ingredients and stir well, then add 3/4 cup water. Simmer for 10 to 15 minutes.
Put beef in taco shells, enchiladas, or burritos.
If you want, you can omit the corn starch, and use as a dry marinate, for beef and chicken fajitas; or add to beans.
