Fish Tostada

Are you ready for a new idea for your tostadas? What about a fish tostada?

Ingredients:
cooking oil
6 Mission thin corn tortillas (fried in oil)
4 fish filets; patted dry with paper towel, season with,  garlic powder, onion powder, salt, pepper, diced lemon pieces, and small pads of butter.
low fat refried beans
Lt. sour cream
shredded lettuce
diced tomatoes
shredded sharp cheddar cheese
salsa
Spanish rice

Recipe:
I made my own tortilla chips. These examples I cut in half. Tortillas can be cooked with out cutting in half if you desire.

Cut corn tortillas in half or leave round, brown in vegetable oil on med. high heat; turn and brown other side. Watch closely so they don't burn. Then let drain on a paper towel.

Season and broil fish under broiler for 7 min.

Place fish on a plate and let cool slightly and flake with a fork.

On fried corn tortilla shell spread on refried beans, sour cream, then add flaked fish.
.

Then add all other fresh ingredients on top of tostada! Eat and enjoy!!

Make some of my Spanish rice on the side.
This is different and an acquired taste! Healthy too!!
