Creamy Potato Soup





Ingredients:


1 celery rib chopped
1/4 white onion chopped
4 scallions chopped with its green part ( use green for garnish)
1 tbsp. butter
2 tbsp. olive oil
3 cloves chopped garlic
1 large Knorr chicken bullion cube
4 to 5 cups water
1 can evaporated  milk
1/2 jar real bacon bits (optional)
1 teas. pepper, garlic powder, onion powder, Italian seasoning, parsley
dash of salt
1 cup shredded cheese (of your choice)
1/2 package of shredded hash brown potatoes

Recipe:
In butter and olive oil, Saute for a few minutes the white onion, celery, and tops of green onion with a dash of salt and pepper.
Then add garlic saute for a few minutes
Add chicken bullion, Italian seasoning, and parsley
Put in hash browns and cover with water. Bring to a boil then simmer  for 20 to 30 minutes.



In a separate bowl stir well 1/2 cup water with 3 tbsp. of corn starch.
Add to simmering liquid and stir well. It will thicken the soup.



Turn off heat and add evaporated milk, garlic powder, onion powder, and pepper. Stir together



Then add shredded cheese and stir in. The cheese will melt.



Lastly add bacon bits. (optional)
Garnish with green onion
After it sits it may get too thick,  just add a little water.



Eat and Enjoy!!  This so delicious!
