Baked Barbeque Chicken Legs

I have made these for years. My son AJ's favorite!

Pre- heat oven 375*
Ingredients:
1 large package of chicken legs (take off skin) taking off skin can be difficult.
We pull off with dish towel. Put towel away to wash. Sanitation is important when using chicken.
Rinse legs in colander and pat dry on paper towels. Apply a dry rub. Sprinkle with mrs. Dash, salt, pepper, garlic and onion powder. Then drizzle with vegetable oil. Mix and massage all over chicken. Marinate for 2 hours or overnight.
2 cups BBQ sauce (dip in before baking)

Homemade BBQ sauce:
Before cooking chicken to not cross contaminate save 1/2 cup to the side.
Mix together well -
2 cups ketchup ( I have also added small can tomato sauce)
1/2 cup brown sugar
1 tbs.honey
2 tbs. smoke sauce
1 tbs. Worcestershire and soy sauce
1/2 teas. pepper, salt,  garlic and onion powder
dash of paprika

Dip chicken legs with BBQ sauce. (coat well!) Pour extra on top of chicken legs. Place chicken in large baking pan. (spray with non stick cooking spray) Bake uncovered for 45 to 55 minutes. Until fully cooked

So yummy! Great to eat with potato salad!
